Happy Mother’s Day!

1-472735_10150595633096622_2023479408_oFor this week’s #WeekendCoffeeShare I would like to pay homage to Women. Tomorrow is Mother’s Day in Denmark, and many other countries in the world (not in Norway though, and being a Norwegian mother living in Denmark, I get two Mother’s Days – the second Sunday of February (Norway) and the second Sunday of May (Denmark). Score!)

If we turn to good ol’ Wikipedia, we learn that:

“Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.”

I choose to pay homage not only to mothers, but to all women – because even though not every woman is a mother, we all have one (whether or not they have been present in our lives)

Women are the most intelligent

Women are the best drivers

Women are the best leaders

Women are the best at installing Ikea-kitchens

Women are the best chefs

Women are the best at understanding and operating technical devises

Women are best at absolutely everything!

For the men who are itching to comment this: Get in line, and let the one with the smallest penis comment first!

  1. Seems like I have to call on my husband or sons an awfully lot. Maybe it is just some women who are best at all these things. I’m lacking someplace! 😀 😀 I’ve been missing you. Is it just bad timing or have you been gone?

    • Nah, your not lacking at all! You are just being smart! Having someone do something for you, does not mean that you can’t do it yourself – should you chose to 🙂 I was gone from about october to february, working myself into lunacy. But I am back and am trying to make something out of this writing-thing ;-p Good to see ya!
